If you have some questions, that's great. We just so happen to have some answers. Why don't you go ahead and take a look at the FAQs below and see what you can learn about your garage door and its different parts and features.
Which garage door opener is the most economical?
The most cost-efficient garage door opener is the chain drive type. The chain drive is also the most commonly used, as it is usually the least expensive option. It does require somewhat frequent maintenance, though, and since that sometimes involves adjusting its chain, it should probably only be handled by a professional technician. Our team can help.
Do all garage door openers have safety features?
Yes, modern garage door openers are required by law to have integrated safety features. There used to be a time, before 1973, where that wasn't the case, but every modern model has to have some type of auto-reverse function that prevents it from closing the door on an obstacle.
How should I clean my wooden garage door?
Wash your door with a diluted solution of household detergent and water to remove any dirt spots, then rinse it with clear water and let it dry. Once dry, use a primer, especially on badly eroded areas. Then you need to apply the finish coating. Make sure to do this on a hot day with no wind.
